STORMS!! YIKES!!

Hi there! So here I sit answering emails and all of a sudden the power goes off!! It comes right back on, a clap of thunder and rain....within seconds, all is dark lots of lightning, heavy rain, wind and hail!! Okay can you imagine hearing hail slamming into your windows?? What was I thinking when we bought this house??? YIKES!!!!!!!! Our windows are HUGE!! DH is standing there and it looks like fog but that is wind whipping the rain!! This storm sat over us for over 45 mins!! This was so not cool! I'm so glad I wasn't home alone... YIKES!!

FS77 Using Crafty Secrets Stamps

Good Morning! It's been forever since I played along with the FS on SCS. This week we are casing Julia aka artsystamper's gallery. I loved the colors in her card seen here so this is the card I cased. I changed everything but the colors. The stamps used on this card are from Crafty Secrets. The set is called Bird Lovers. I colored the image with chalk. Aren't those birds the cutiest??

Things I Made At CHA!

Good Morning! While I was at CHA I won a kids Cuttlebug!! I'm sure my grand daughters will love having their own since Nana's is totally off limits!:) The Beaded necklace and matching earrings I made in a class, I love how it turned out! We only had two hours to make it!! The braclet was a make and take.

The Metal necklaces were a make and take at the Tim Holtz booth. I really thought these were cool and way to easy to make:) I'll be back with more photos soon:) Enjoy the day!

JBE #11 Casing Lila!!

Hi there! This week we are paired up with a team mate to case. I was paired with Lila!! Oh my goodness if you haven't seen her blog you need to!! I had a really hard time picking a card to case. She is so awesome!! I finally decided on this card I really love the layout and colors. We were to use the layout of the cased design, I did, except I omitted the ribbon due to the stamp I used. The stamp is from Inkadinkado. I got mine from Jacksonbelle. I just love all the new Inka stamps. !! TFL! Check out the other DT cases!! They really are Rockin'! Black & White CPS #73 KSS Stars

Oh I'm having so much fun with the sketch on CPS this week. Kitchen Sink Stamps is the sponsor how cool is that? I wanted to use the Playful Stars set for a non red, white, & blue card. So I decided to make it black and white. I really like how it turned out, I used Swirly Hearts & Stars for the background. The sentiment is from the Ready 4 Any Holiday set. Have a great day!

CPS# 73 & KSS

So much excitement at Kitchen Sink Stamps. KSS is the CPS sponsor this week. The CPS designers have some awesome samples for you using KSS. The sketch this week is a fun one. I don't have any type of wavy tool so I used my pizza cutter. Just lay your cardstock on a piece of foam board and roll. Simply cut it out. Here's what I came up with. I hope you like it:)
