Timeless Tuesday!!

Hi there! It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC8)!!!! Thanks so much for all who played with us last week!!!! This week Betty Wright is hosting the challenge. She is challenging us to Emboss It!!! There are a lot of different types of embossing options to choose from. In addition, there are many different techniques to combined with embossing. We would love to see what you all create. You can read all the details on the Flourishes newsletter here. I used the smaller stamp in the Sweetpea set along with the sentiment from Easter Blessings all from Flourishes. To make the embossed panel pop I tapped my Craft White ink pad on the embossed areas. I used Prismacolor pencils and baby oil to color the sweetpeas. See the wonderful creations from the blog team!!

KSS Monday Crew Challenge

Good Morning! Happy KSS Day!! This week Tammy is the hostess for this challenge and she wants us to make a ATC the twist is you need to use the ATC on a full card. SSNOTIME Ribbon Tab!!

Hi! Sharon's challenge for us this week is to use scraps of ribbon and make a tab. You can read all the details on her blog. This wonderful paper and gorgeous black suede ribbon can be found at i{heart}papers. All stamps are from Flourishes. The sentiment is from Mixed Greetings. I used the little accent stamp from the Thinking Of You set. The flower is from the Peony set. The first picture shows the sentiment off the card. The second photo shows the tab. Timeless Tuesday!!

Hi there! It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC7)!! This week Cindy Haffner is hosting. She is challenging us to use ribbon. Try to venture from your normal comfort zone or try to use ribbon in a different way. For my card today I wrapped the ribbon around the card then added the bow. I normally use one long piece of ribbon and tie my bow with the same piece. I used the new released Sweet Peas set from Flourishes. To color this I used Prisma Colored pencils. Happy KSS DAY!! Hoppy Easter:)

Good Morning! It's KSS MONDAY!! Today I used the following sets from Kitchen Sink Stamps 3-Step Honey Bunny set along with the eggs from the Nesting Doll set. Backgrounds and Borders was used to decorate the eggs. I inked the back of the egg stamp with SU! ink to get the egg shape. I used the background stamps to decorate the eggs. I then cut them out. To make the sky I used a wide Copic marker. For the grass I stamped all three steps and cut the top edge. This was a fun card to make. It's All About The Paper:)

Hi there! Have you been over to the i{heart}papers store lately? Kate has gotten so many new items in from CHA! This gorgeous paper first caught my eye because of the beautiful browns with the hydragea. The edge of one side has a fancy cut which I also loved. You can see the beautiful edge on my card. I cut the flower from the paper and popped it up on pop dots. I used my oval Nesties and gorgeous double sided ribbon all from i{heart}papers. The sentiment is from Flourishes as well as the Metallic Chocolate paper. Have a great weekend:)

SSNOTIME White Mat!!!!

Hi there! Sharon's challenge this week is to mat at least one layer with white. You can see the entire challenge here. My card looks pretty basic. There are many hidden details in my card. The first time I saw this Tulip from Kitchen Sink Stamps I knew it would be gorgeous as a watercolored painting. I started with PTI white cardstock. I stamped the image and sentiment. Let it dry. I used my Mega Nesties from i{heart}papers on the right side of the image. I used several inks from SU! Caramel, Apricot, Cocoa, Saffron to name a few. I then smeared disstress ink over the entire image. I used my score-pal to score a line on the left side. I glued the edge of my final image on the white mat. I stamped another KSS sentiment inside the main panel on the front. The inside of the base card says We love you. This card is in a box to my oldest daughter who is deployed right now. Timeless Tuesday

Hi there! This week Kimberly Crawford is hosting the Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC6). Kimberly has provided us with a sketch to test our cardmaking wits. As far as sketches go, there is not much explanation necessary. You can turn it and enlarge the sections to fit your card size. However, in the end, it should still look like the sketch. KSS MONDAY!!

Good Morning! There's a lot of buzz in the kitchen today. We want you to join in the challenges each week so Maria has a very cool announcement over on her blog. You won't believe what Maria is serving up just for you:)

This week Nicole is the hostess for our CREW challenge and boy did she make me think! We are to use a photo on our card or project. We could not make a scrapbook page. A friend asked me to make a anniversary card for her husband she gave me a photo of their wedding cake to use on the card. This is what I came up with.
