Some i{heart}papers LUV!!

hi there! Wow what a week I've had. I was sick for a few days but still was able to head down to Florida for a Copic class! FLLC sponsored the class and what a GREAT time we had!! It was great meeting so many people I chat with and admire online. I wish we had more time together. So here is my very first card using Copic Markers. I only have the markers we were given in class so my colors are very limited. I did place a order for more today:) The tips are really soft and flexible so I have some trouble staying in the lines LOL so go easy on me:)

Timeless Tuesday!! CC206 Flowers Everywhere:)

Flowers Flowers Everywhere!!!! It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge!!!! Thanks so much for all who played along with us last week. This week I'm hosting the Timeless Tuesday Challenge. I'm challenging you to use flowers! Whether they are stamped, silk, real, punched, fabric, dried, crocheted, or clear, if it looks like a flower it is a flower!!!

I used two sets that are new to my stamp collection from Flourishes. Poppy Patch & Signs of Spring.I colored the flowers with Prisma Color pencils then I cut them all out and popped them on pop dots. This card also uses the colors for today's CC206.

KSS Monday!! For the Guys:)

Hi there! Today is Monday so you know I have a Kitchen Sink card for you:) I wanted to do something different today so I challenged myself to make a masculine card that was elegant without ribbon or anything that screams girly. After stamping the image and words I smeared disstress ink over the entire thing. The designer paper is Graphic 45. The stamps are KSS called 3-Step School Days. i{heart}papers DT challenge & LSC 207

Good Morning!! If you are looking for my SSNOTIME #74 card please scroll down. Kate from i{heart}papers challenged the DT to make a card or project using holiday paper or stamps in a project outside of that season. For example, use Christmas paper on a birthday card or Valentine's Day card. This card also fits the LSC 207 challenge on SCS today. That challenge is to make a card different than your normal card. For this card I have 9 layers! I never do 9 layers LOL. I didn't use ribbon or image stamps. The paper I used is Daisyd's from a 8x8 pad of Christmas paper. Cutie Pie Valentine!!

Hi there! Today I made a card using a stamp set that I just love. You can get this set at i{heart}papers. I love getting all my card making needs from one place when possible. Kate has the Nesties, Paper,Ribbon & Stamps all in her store. When I saw this set I knew I had to have it. I collect elephants and many many years ago my husband brought this little guy home. So here's my card. The paper is Basic Grey Bittersweet. I used Prisma Color Pencils to color the elephant. Thanks for stopping by!

I decided to make a baby card. I used the Rock-A-Bye set from Flourishes. The beautiful designer paper is by Basic Grey called Euphoria, you can find it in the Flourishes store. The image was colored using chalk and q-tips.

KSS Monday!! Just ME...

Hi there! How fun, a new challenge for the KSS crew! I must say I've been doing some soul searching about many things so far in 2009. Top on the list is be true to myself!! The year 2009 is all about being true to me and what I enjoy; simple, clean, elegant stamping. There are SO many talented stampers out there all with their own wonderful styles. So to some this may look basic but it's me. I tremendously appreciate every person who visits my blog.
