Timeless Tuesday & Some Photos!!

Hi there!!  A few weeks ago Flourishes was in my home town doing a Scrap & Stamp Expo. It was so fun seeing Sharon, Mike ( Jan Marie's husband) and Silke again!! I also met Jan Marie's sister Diane. Annette also came she works for Flourishes:) I taught two classes coloring with Copics using Flourishes stamps. Both classes were full it was great seeing friends from other classes as well as meeting new stamping friends. Here I have two pictures to share before we opened the booth the first day.

 
Sharon and Diane are both on computers making sure all is up and running. Annette has a list and she is checking it twice:) Now what is Mike doing?? He is getting ready to battle with Silke!!

How cute is this?? We had such a BLAST!! I really hated to see everyone leave!!

I basically went with the colors from this picture on my card. I used Kraft, Vanilla, and Brocade Blue card stock. I used the Gerber Daisies set. This image is colored with chalk. I used a cuttlebug folder for the texture of the headboard and chair. Here's my card.

Timeless Tuesday

Hi there! How are you? All is good here. I've been super busy this month. I have pictures to share and stories to tell but that will have to wait for another day. Right now I need to tell you all about the Timeless Tuesday challenge.

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC59)!  This week Betty Wright is our host.  Betty is challenging us to fake it!  We are using faux techniques this week on our cards and projects.  There are a list of many amazing faux ideas in theTutorial section at SCS.  Check them out here. 

Here's my take on this fun challenge. I used faux brads on this card. I punched two sizes of circles.  Cute huh? The stamps are from Flourishes called A Year In Flowers 3. I colored the image with Copics.

Make sure you check the FOF designers to see what faux technique they used this week! I know you will be glad you did!!

Celebrate with Flourishes!!

Hi there!! Sorry I've been MIA. I've been busy preparing for my classes this weekend!  I know I will be seeing some of you this coming weekend:) I'm SO excited!!
