Flourishes Timeless Tuesday X's Two!!

Hi there! Sorry I missed you last week! I must say last week was a mess and if I shared it ALL you would not believe it. Yep it was that bad. I will say that on Friday I had to cancel a lunch date due to the air and hot water heater both going out! With the long weekend ahead I was freakin' out NO AIR IN GA??? NO WAY!!

I must say it all ended on a great note, the air was fixed and a new hot water heater was installed. Dh and I celebrated another Anniversary with shopping, dinner and drinks:) So all is good in my world for now.

Last week we had a challenge host Traci Major. Traci is challenging us to Summer Memories! With summer quickly drawing to a close, Traci wants us to reflect on one of our summer activities and create a card capturing one of our favorite memories of Summer 2010!

For my card I reflected on CHA! Meeting some of the Flourishes team for the first time! What a awesome time that was!! I also LOVED seeing friends  that I had met in real life in the past! I added today's Timeless Tuesday challenge to last weeks card with a homemade ticket. Betty is this weeks challenge host (FTTC83)!  Betty is challenging us to use tickets on our cards. Now, you can use actual store bought tickets or create your own, or come up with ways to create a ticket look with your focal image, card base, or sentiment. We would love to see what you create!

So here's my take on both FTTC challenges.

I used the Chairs For You set colored with Copics. The sentiment is from the Tag Lines set. The brads are stickers also found in the Flourishes store. They are cool because you get the look without the bulk!!  The designer paper is SO gorgeoues in real life. The lager piece is flocked. I bought it at Hobby Lobby made by GCD Studios. My ticket was made using a circle punch and perforation blade.

What a great take on the challenge, Dee! The paper is gorgeous, like a formal sitting room. Love your coloring of the chair. Beautiful blending, and it looks almost like it's worn in all the usual places. Glad to hear you got your air and hot water fixed without too much delay.
