Products Used on This Project HCPC 3352 Snowy Cardinal PreCut Set HCD 708 Decorative Window Die HCPC 3351 Cardinal With Holly Berries PreCut Set This card is 5"x7" 1. Adhere designer paper cut to desired size to card base. 2. Cut and emboss Fancy Window Die. 3. Stamp and color the Snowy cardinal. 4. Place the window frame over your stamped and colored image. 5. Make a bow, add a button, baker's twine and sentiment as shown.

I just love this new die!! Gorgeous huh?

HCPC 3355 Scenic Combo PreCut Set
HCD 708 Decorative Window Die

1. Stamp and color the image using Copics.
2. Cut image using the Spellbinder's Lacey Square Die.
3. Distress the edges using ink.
4. Use a textured folder to create the background.
5. Make a bow.
6. Adhere all layers as shown.

FTTC #94 Sketch!!

Hi there! I want to thank all of you that played last week in my challenge. Wow there are over 132 of you!! I've commented on about 40 or so. I'm not sure if I will make it to all your blogs with Thanksgiving  just around the corner. I hope you understand. I'm thrilled that so many of you got at least one Christmas card finished last week:)

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC94)! This week Cindy Haffner is hosting. She is challenging us to a sketch she has designed. As far as sketches go, there is not much of an explanation necessary. You can turn it and modify the shapes to fit your size card, but in the end, it should still look like the sketch. Good Luck! We cannot wait to see what you create with it!

Good Morning! Today I have a cute watering can card to share. It was nice to step away from making holiday cards and coloring something pretty. Check out the Heartfelt Creations blog today for some holiday and everyday card making ideas.

 

Products Used on This Project
HCPC 3306 Posy Patch Garden Delights PreCut Set
Other:Ink- Tuxedo Black
Card Stock- White, Cosmo Cricket (Earth Love)
Other- Spellbinders Lacey Circles Die, Linen Thread, Pop Dots, Brad Sticker, Copics.

Stamp,color, and cut out your main image.
Form card base and adhere designer paper.
Run the Lacey Square through your die cut machine.
Add Pop Dots to your cut out image. Adhere to the Lacey Square.
Attach brads as shown.

FTTC #93 "Just Do It!!" Make Christmas Cards:)

Hi there!! If you are like me I'm  in a total daze that we are only a few weeks away from Christmas.  Just yesterday we were all trying to figuire out if we will say 20-10 or 2010....what, we are almost at 2011??

Anyway we need to finish this year's 20-10 or 2010 with gifts and cards so here's your chance.  It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC93)!  This week I'm your challenge host!  It is begining to look a lot like Christmas so we really need to get some Christmas cards ready for mailing!  I'm challenging you to "Just Do It!"  Get those Christmas cards done!  You may need to make several for this challenge!  We would love to see what you create!

Here's my card

 

The background started as Flourishes Classic White cardstock. I stamped the snowflakes with Tuxedo Black ink  and sponged a bunch of different blue ink all over. I used the Beaded Oval Spellbinders dies along with this awesome Baker's Twine ( thanks Nancy!)  to weave between the openings. The super cute stamp set is Warm Winter Wishes. The mittens are colored with Copics.

 I really hope you will join us catching up to the end of 2010!

HC My Easy And Elegant Christmas Card 2010

Hi there! I wanted to share with you my Easy Elegant 2010 Christmas card. I really loved how it turned out:)

1. Stamp the Snowflake Medley as shown with Sahara Sand ink.
2. Cut and emboss circle using white card stock. Stamp sentiment on emboss circle.
3. Cut a Lacey Circle out of Sahara Sand card stock.
4. Stamp the smaller holly from the Elegant Holly Swirls set twice.
5. Color and cut the leaves and berries.
6. Adhere the leaves and berries onto embossed circle.
7. Adhere embossed circle to Lacy Circle add rhinestones as shown.

FTTC #92 Glitter?

Hi there! My card today has given me SO much trouble trying to get a good picture!! I finally gave up last night and tried this morning, well this is as good as it get folks:) Some of  you already know I don't own any glitter and really don't like messing with it so I used Glimmer Mist instead.

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC92)! This week Barbara Anders is the challenge host! Barbara is challenging us to use glitter! You can use actual glitter, glittered cardstock, or items ready made with glitter! So, give your cards or projects just a touch or go all out with some sparkle!! We would love to see what you create.

I wanted to share with you how I colored this gorgeous Poinsettia and Boxwood Stamp Set . I stamped two of the poinsettia's with Tuxedo Black ink. I cut them out and sprayed them with the Glimmer Mist. I used a heat tool to dry it. I then took some chalk and colored over the glimmer Mist. For the center I used a Copic marker.  On the bottom flower I cut the petals apart and shaped them I then added the top flower slightly off center on top. I did not use pop dots just tape:) The designer paper is called Deck The Halls.

HC Oh So Sweet!!

Hi there! Today I have a easy gift idea. I found these popcorn boxes at Hobby Lobby. I plan to fill them with homemade treats but for now I've added my NEW favorite candy:)

 

Products Used on This Project
HCPC 3336 Ornament Medallions PreCut Set
HCD 705 Holly-Ornament Die

1. Stamp the ornament twice
2. Cut both ornaments using the die.
3. With a brush add Shimmerz to the top one.
4. Using pop dots layer the ornament you used Shimmerz on over the second cut out.
5. Adhere the ornament to the popcorn box as shown.
6. Make a bow and add rhinestones as shown.
7. Fill with your favorite candy:)

Hi there! I went out of my comfort zone on this one. I hope it is okay?

Betty is challenging us to find inspiration with Cafe Baudelaire prints http://www.etsy.com/shop/CafeBaudelaire?page=20). Visit the site and choose a picture that inspires you. The images are French shabby chic, but that style card or project is not required. We would love to see your take with your cardmaking style.



So here is my take on the challenge. This was my inspiration.
 

I love the contrast of dark and light. The colored roses just popped to me so here is my card. I didn't see any embellishments or ribbon so I left that out.
